John Albin Wilkins is the lead for the Drupal 8 Mobile Initiative, one of the top 30 Drupal contributors to Drupal 7 and is listed a few times in D7’s MAINTAINERS.txt. He maintains several well-used contrib projects, including the Zen theme, Menu Block and Menu Position.

He’s recently embraced the power of Sass and Compass and has written Zen Grids, a Sass module to vastly simplify the building of responsive design layouts for mobile-friendly websites. He’s also the co-author of Drupal 7 Module Development and a Senior Front-end Developer at an excellent Drupal shop, Palantir.net.
